Roofing software built here, for roofers here.
Rowlty is an AI crew for Lowcountry roofing companies — riding along on inspections, translating for installers, and running the CRM your reps stopped updating.
Lowcountry roofing is not generic roofing.
Software written for a Dallas hail chaser doesn't understand what your crews are actually dealing with between Awendaw and Ravenel.
Hurricane season runs your calendar
June through November decides your year. When a named storm tracks toward the coast your phones go from 12 calls a day to 200, and you're hiring crews you've never worked with. Rowlty Front Desk absorbs the call spike, and seats can be added and dropped by the day — prorated — so scaling up for six weeks doesn't lock you into a bigger bill in February.
Salt air eats the details
On Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, and Folly, fasteners, flashing, and drip edge corrode on a timeline nobody inland thinks about. Rowlty Notes captures what the estimator actually said about the flashing condition instead of trusting him to remember it three inspections later — which is where the callback comes from.
Humidity and algae streaking
Charleston humidity means dark streaking on north-facing slopes and homeowners who think they need a new roof when they need a cleaning and algae-resistant shingles. Rowlty Proposals builds the good-better-best conversation with the inspection photos attached, so the upgrade justifies itself.
The peninsula has its own rules
Work in the Old and Historic District goes in front of Charleston's Board of Architectural Review, and material choices aren't yours alone to make. Rowlty logs what was promised to the homeowner and keeps the documentation trail in one place instead of in somebody's texts.
HOA neighborhoods everywhere
Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant, Nexton, Carnes Crossroads — approval packets, color matching, and staging restrictions on every job. Rowlty keeps the requirements attached to the job record so the crew that shows up Tuesday knows the dumpster can't sit on the street.
Your crews and your customers don't share a language
This is the Lowcountry reality nobody puts in a brochure. Rowlty Bridge lets the homeowner talk to the foreman directly — she speaks English, he hears Spanish out loud a half-second later. No interpreter, no three-way call through the office.
Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties
We're at 405 Jessen Ln on Daniel Island, which means we can be at your office in under an hour almost anywhere in the tri-county.
Charleston · North Charleston · Mount Pleasant · Summerville · Goose Creek · Hanahan · Ladson · Moncks Corner · Daniel Island · West Ashley · James Island · Johns Island · Folly Beach · Sullivan's Island · Isle of Palms · Kiawah · Seabrook · Awendaw · Ravenel · Hollywood
We also work with roofing companies across the wider storm belt — Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Hilton Head, and up into the Carolinas. Rowlty runs remotely everywhere; Charleston is just where we can show up in person.
Permit jurisdictions we've mapped
Rowlty keeps permit requirements and inspection steps attached to the job, per jurisdiction, so your production coordinator isn't rebuilding the checklist every time you cross a county line.

South Carolina licensing, tracked instead of remembered
In South Carolina, residential roofing work under $10,000 runs through a Residential Specialty registration with the SC Residential Builders Commission. Above that threshold you need a general contractor license with the roofing subclassification, issued through SC LLR. Registrations and licenses renew on a two-year cycle, and North Carolina is the one state with a reciprocity agreement — which matters if you chase storms up I-95.
None of that is hard. It's just easy to let lapse, especially for the subs you only use during a surge. Rowlty Recruit tracks license and insurance expiration for every crew and subcontractor on your roster and tells you before a certificate goes stale, not after an adjuster asks for it.
Licensing summary provided for context, not as legal advice. Confirm current requirements with SC LLR before relying on them.
Most Charleston companies start with three
Then add the fourth before hurricane season.
Rowlty Notes
The estimator taps record getting out of the truck. The inspection form, the photo tags, and the proposal draft are done before he's off the driveway.
Rowlty Bridge
Live English–Spanish translation between the homeowner and the crew, on a shared jobsite phone. No seat required per installer.
Rowlty CRM
Updates itself from the calls, texts, and signed docs. Or keeps writing into the JobNimbus or AccuLynx you already pay for.
Rowlty Front Desk
Answers in two rings at 11pm on a Sunday mid-storm, qualifies the lead, and books the inspection on the right rep's calendar.
What local roofers ask us
Do you actually work with companies here, or is Charleston just your billing address?
We're at 405 Jessen Ln, Suite E on Daniel Island, inside Charleston AI. Lowcountry roofing companies were the first people we built this for, and we'll drive to your office to run the demo rather than doing it over a screen share.
Can it handle our Spanish-speaking crews?
That's Rowlty Bridge, and it's included on every plan. Two-way live translation in 42 languages with roofing vocabulary trained in, so "ice and water shield" doesn't come out as "ice water." It runs on a shared jobsite phone — installers don't each need a paid seat.
What happens when a storm hits and we triple in size for six weeks?
Add seats the day you need them and drop them when the surge ends, prorated to the day. Front Desk absorbs the call volume without a hold queue. Seat pricing was designed around exactly this, because storm work is most of our customers' year.
We're a five-person shop. Is this overkill?
The Crew plan is $349/mo plus $59 per user with a three-user minimum — about $644/mo for a five-person company — and it includes the notetaker, the translator, and the CRM. If it isn't obviously worth that after 90 days, cancel and we refund the platform fee.
Do we have to drop AccuLynx or JobNimbus?
No. Rowlty reads from and writes into both, plus Roofr, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, and HubSpot. Rowlty CRM is there if you'd rather consolidate, but plenty of companies never switch it on.
Let's meet at your office.
Susan Drake, our VP of Sales, runs these herself. Twenty minutes, your real jobs on the screen, the actual price said out loud. If Rowlty isn't right for a company your size, she'll tell you that instead of scheduling a second call.
